Converting Megapixels to Print Size

Print Size

To print an image for publication in a magazine or book, experts agree that you need 300PPI for best results.

To find out the largest size you can print out an image which was saved at 300PPI, divide the image's pixel dimensions (horizontal and vertical) by 300.

3 2048 x 1536 6.82" x 5.12" 17.32 x 13.00
